Fortessa Partners is an independent corporate finance house headquartered in London. We act for founders, management teams and shareholders of high-quality growth companies on capital raising, M&A and strategic matters; and we serve a network of family offices, ultra-high-net-worth investors and professional capital partners who look to us for direct and co-investment opportunities held to an exacting standard.

We are deliberately small. We work on a limited number of mandates each year, give each client the seniority and attention they expect, and seek genuine alignment in the opportunities we recommend. In selected situations, where appropriate, that alignment may include Fortessa committing its own capital. The firm’s name is drawn from the Latin fortis — strength, stability, conviction held over time — which is the temperament we bring to our clients’ work.

We do not run broad processes. We do not chase volume. We are most useful where the right introduction, the right structure, and the right counterparty matter more than the broadest possible reach — and where a client benefits from advisers who have personally been principal investors as well as advisers.

Every mandate is led by a partner from origination through to completion. We bring institutional rigour to private situations: detailed diligence, careful structuring, considered negotiation, and a discreet, long-term posture toward the relationships we build on both sides of a transaction.
